Provide membership and financial support to The Cummer Museum.

• "CELEBRATE The CUMMER," the signature event for FOCUS Cummer held annually at The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, serves as a special evening of food and fun with an opportunity to introduce prospective members to the Museum and all that it offers.  Themed to one of the current exhibitions, guests also have ample time for viewing the permanent collection, the magnificent gardens and Art Connections, as well as dining and socializing.
• FOCUS Cummer members give direct financial support for the museum activities such as: underwriting exhibitions and children's programs; contributing to Art Connections and its innovative distance learning program; and to the restoration of the Diana of the Hunt statue.  These contributions are made possible through the dues of FOCUS Cummer Sponsor and Patron members.

Provide art education to the community.

• FOCUS Cummer's principal community project is FABFest (Future Artists of the Beaches Fest).  FOCUS Cummer partners with The Cummer's Art Connections Education Staff to provide an unusual and special art education experience for elementary school students at the Beaches.  All artwork is displayed at Art Connections.

  • This school year’s program will be expanded by incorporating regular classroom teachers as well as the elementary art teachers.  In addition, FOCUS and the Cummer staff are planning to take the FABFest program to the Cunningham Creek Elementary School and using it in their special needs program which is attended by some students from the beaches area. Again this year, we continue to have Regions Bank, PGA Tour Charities and Sawgrass Country Club Arts and Sounds as our valued sponsors for these programs. 

• FOCUS Cummer teams with other community organizations to offer art education opportunities such as Ponte Vedra Friends of the Library and The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra to offer art education opportunities, art history lectures and unique art trips to museums in other communities, which provide a broader context for appreciating both The Cummer's collections and the world of art.
